Took Alcohol After Smoking And Snort Meth. Sharp Pain In Chest, Back. Worried
I'm 20 years old, and one night I decided to smoke and snort meth..after I decide to take a alcohol/caffine mix drink and ended up having this sharp pain hours later..I couldn't sleep for 2 to 3 days. When I slept, I woke up with the chest pain. Its been 2 days now with this pain. Its on my upper left side of my chest. My back hurts too on the left upper side. Should I be worried??
Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. If I were your treating doctor for this case of acute pain in chest , I would come up with these possibilities , these includes. 1 Drinks with caffeine in them may produced gastritis or hyper acidity . Due to all irritant substance , which you consumed developed oesophagitis and gastritis . Diagnosis can be confirmed by upper G I endoscopy. Antacid might help with oxetacaine in them. Still symptoms are severe then you may need proton pump inhibitors. 2 Pain on the left side of shoulder is also due to this but this is a referral pain . In my opinion consult a physician and get his opinion . Good luck. Dr. HET
