Told To Be Anemic. Has Bone Spur Pressing On Spine With Sore Muscle. No Energy And Cant Walk

My husband was told that he was anemic. He has a bone spur in his neck too that is somewhat pressing on his spine. His muscles are so sore he can't hardly walk. He said every muscle in his body is extremely sore. He does not have any energy. He has always been a very active and strong man but for the last four months he had not been doing very good. Can anemia do all this?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The presence of the bone spur is a degenerative change in the spine which can cause the pain in the neck and the muscles. This needs oral muscle relaxants for proper relief.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
