Toe Itchy, Swollen, Red, Throbbing. What Is Wrong With Me?

I am an athlete I run track but two nights ago all of a sudden I woke up nd my big toe was seemingly itchy so I scratched it thinking it was nothing nd went back to sleep the day day I woke up and it s swollen , red , and throbbing. I dot recall hitting it or stubbing it Ive tried icing it and while I was icing it it was ok and seemed to be gettin better but I still can t bend my big toe joint . What is wrong with me and will I be able to run again ?

Hi,
As you had severe itching on the part indicates that you might having some poisonous bite giving you this problem.
Take some antihistamine like Cetrizine, levo-cetrizine or Benadryl for 2-3 days.
If require go for one antibiotic medicine course after consulting your doctor.
Ok and take care.
