Toddler Had Vomiting At Midnight After Eating Outside Food, Prescribed Emiset. What Diet Is Recommended?
Goodmorning Sir, This is Mrs.Dhiviya Vasudhevan from Trichy. My baby boy is 19 months old nowand his weight is 8.3 Kgs.Yesterday his intake during the night was a spoon of paasipayaru payasam from a temple and 2 bananas. He slept for an hour and started vomitting in the midnight. He vomitted thrice since then and i phoned up his doctor who prescribed EMISET. May i get some clarification on this. What diet should i give him?Iam feeding him.

your doctor prescribed you antiemetic........... to prevent further vomitings
he should be given diet in small quantities now frequently till his vomitings are under control
pl ensure that you do not give him stomach full at a time
liquid feeds should be given (like ORS)........ Solid food should be withheld till he stops vomitings
avoid giving oily and fatty stuff now
he should be to normal diet as soon as possible after vomiting stops
