Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

You have not mentioned age, gender, personal history or other morbidity.
Several possibilities have to be considered...

Left heart failure will be the first thing to consider and exclude
Anxiety is highly probable
Allergy to pillow / sheets / air-conditioning - may worsen asthma

X-ray chest / Lung function (Spirometry) / EKG /HOLTER / ECHOcardiogram / TMT (exercise EKG) / LABORATORY work-up – may all be necessary for further assessment and assistance.

The treating doctor may suggest them depending on need, based on his assessment of the situation.

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
