Tingling Sensation In Leg, Sleeping Feeling. Can It Be From Body Losing Electrolytes Because Of Ex-lax?
I m in a lot of tingling restless leg syndrome is what I think it mayb. I did take some ex-lax because I couldn't get my bowels to turn loose therefore I was stopped up & that was creating stomache pain. but this crazy feeling in the back of my legs is about 2 send me overboard. lol I actually started with the leg pain b4 I took the ex-lax and this has become a problem 4 the last 2-3 yrs. so, I guess my question is what causes this crazy,tingling,(almost like u have hit ur funny bone or ur legs going 2 sleep feeling) MY MOTHER USED 2 HAVE THIS SAME PROBLEM AND SHE WAS ON QUINTINE 2 help her get some relieve. could it be from my boby loosing its electrolytes because of the ex-lax? i'm so miserable and I've tried about everything I know, so plez plez help a poor grl out
HI Thank for asking to HCM It does not seems any thing abnormal, laxative does not induces dehydration unless the watery diarrhea is there your over all problems could be due to some functional disorders highly related with stress try to keep your stress level low, have good sleep of at least 6 to 7 hours, drink lot of water, keep habit of regular exercise, you will get good result, have nice day.
Tingling - numbness in legs could be due to restless leg syndrome , Calcium -Magnesium deficiency,diabetes,decreased circulation,compression of nerve due to slip disc.Since you are young I'll advise you to take Nature Made's Calcium-Magnesium Supplements- take one tablet daily .Plz give detailed history about backache or increased frequency of urine or pain in legs during cold weather or severe pain in calf muscles.If there's no relief after 3 months of treatment then second line of treatment will be considered.
