Tingling In The Breast After Periods. Is It Normal?

Hello. I am 41, mother of 3, single. My oldest is 6, and I have 4 year old twins. I am fit (relatively, ;) ) in that I am a healthy weight and size. My question is this. I have had tingling in my left breast for years, but only associated with my cycles. This month, it has persisted after my cycle. For years, it would be there, during ovulation, then during my cycle with periods of time where it would radiate to my armpit. Then go away. Now however, it is there almost everyday, but not all day long. Is this normal for a woman my age? I have breast fed all my children, the oldest for 6 months, and the twins for 10 months. Thank you for your response.

Dear Ma'am,

Sorry to hear about your problem. This problem is normal for your age and there is no need to worry about these symptoms. These symptoms happen because the breast becomes sensitive to hormonal changes.
You should get an annual mammogram done and get yourself evaluated by a breast surgeon.

Hope you get well soon.
