I am an NHS ambulance driver and have been of work due to a neck problem. My MRI scan shows an annular disc bulge at c5-6 c6-7 levels. There is no compression on the cord shown. However my symptoms have been , tingling down both arms to my finger tips, with intense pain down my left arm. My GP has forwarded this information to Kings Hospital London. My question is that I miss work can I continue my progress back to work fully, if I do will I be putting myself and my patients at risk ?? manual handling of patients is a daily chore. There has been no power loss from my grip, now that I take medication to control the pain. secondly, there has been no explanation as to how this came about . Weather through injury or other . Can you explain that from me please
