I just had an abortion like a couple months ago, my lower stomach in the inside felt tight when I lay flat. Sometime I think near my ovary hurt..I haven't done my follow up as should've. Thought ill be okay but now I'm curious about am I infected or something is wrong. Scared something will happen to my future pregnancy.
Hello there! i read you query and i want you to know that abortions increase the requirement of care for next pregnancies. You should have regular follow up. Tightness in the lower areas need work up. It sounds like pelvic inflammatory disease as this itself is the major cause of abortions.
The best strategy is to see the gynecologist to and have your self assessed to rule out possibilities of infections or adhesions or cramps or some other thing which could be responsible for your this lower abdomen pains.
Dont be scared. you need care and you should seek it. You will be fine in the hands of a good gynecologist.
regards And take some good care
