Hi, thanks for asking in Healthcare Magic.
Livogen contains Ferrous fumarate and Folic acid. It is given to treat anemia.
Hypothyroidism (deficiency of thyroid hormone) is one of the common causes of female infertility. Both hypothyroidism and anemia needs to be corrected if a person wants to conceive.
You have mentioned that you are taking medication for getting pregnant. Clomiphene citrate is usually given to induce ovulation. It causes other side effects like hot flushes, polycystic ovaries (multiple cysts in ovary), but it does not result in weight gain.
Haematinics are substances like iron and folic acid and these are required in the formation of blood. Ferrous Fumerate can cause nausea, gastric irritation, constipation or diarrhea but not weight gain.
Anemia causes loss of appetite. Iron supplements can increase your body weight as they improve your appetite.
Hope I have answered your query.
