HI ,Due to thyroid problem I was facing irregular period problem in 2010 from March 2011 my Period is Normal, on 6th day 30th Jan 2012 i took HSG test but i did nt get my period due on 26th Feb 2012, Today on 10th Day i Did Urine test but that Is Negative. what is the reason of no period on due date? should i see my Doctor?
Hi Welcome to healthcare magic. The periods may become irregular if your thyroid function has freshly gone down. In that case you may need to increase the thyroid hormone under the care of a local clinician. The HSG test is not a cause for delayed periods but you need to recheck pregnancy with serum beta hCG test, to rule it out. Sometimes the periods can be delayed due to stress. But in that case they resume in about 10days when stress levels are low. I hope the advise will be helpful for you.
