Thumping In Chest, Dizziness, Pins And Needles In Right Hand. Taking Ibuprofen

I have had a strange feeling for the past 48 hours. Without warning I get a large thumping in my chest followed by dizziness and pins and needles in my right hand. In the worst cases I have also had the pins and needles in my right leg, so bad it's nearly made me fall. It happens worse when I am standing and walking. I took ibroprofen to see if it helped. It calmed it down slightly but did not stop

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I suspect it to be early symptoms of stroke.
Because initially you have chest pain followed by pin and needles in right hand and then right leg.
You also have imbalance and tendency to fall.
I suspect it to be a embolic stroke.
Please do the following investigations and consult a neurologist as well as cardiologist.
Full Blood count.
Electrocardiogram
Echo cardiogram
CT and MRI Brain.

Please take aspirin instead of Ibuprofen.

Please write back for further queries.
Wishing you good health.
