Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, I would like to advise you that you should go for a Neurological Examination along with investigations like CT/MRI of head and neck and blood pressure monitoring.

Single sided headaches are commonly due to Migraine.
You can take painkiller like Ibuprofen twice daily after meals along with Omeprazole 40 mg and Domperidone 10 mg.

Clinical examination and investigations will help in planning your medical management.

I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.

General & Family Physician Dr. Manjeth Kumar G's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to Healthcaremagic.

I had gone through your query and understand your concern.

Most probably you may have Migraine headache.

The features that confirm this are One sided ( Left sided ), It is throbbing, similar pain experiencing in neck ( due to spasm of blood vessels ) and radiating. No history of any head or neck injury.
It is a simple migraine without aura.

There is no definitive investigation to confirm Migraine.

Initially i suggest you to take painkillers like ibuprofen.
If the symptoms persist , i will prescribe you the triptan drugs like sumatriptan.
Beta blockers like Metoprolol can be used for prophylaxis for migraine.

Hope this helps.
If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.
Regards,
Dr.Manjeth.
