Throbbing Neck Pain Near The Spine. No Injury. Taking Advil. Permanent Cure?

i have this sharp throbbing neck pain on the back of my neck on the left side by my spine every time i move my head from side to side. what is it? how can i make it better? there was no trauma or anything. the pain came from nowhere, i was talking to someone and got angry and that is when the pain started. should i be worried? i have taken some advil and the pain lessens but comes back when i stop. it has been 5 days since it started. thank you!!
