Throat Irritation With Slight Thread Like Phelgm When Exposed To Cold Weather. Diagnosed Allergy. X-ray Clear. Intake Of Rotocaps Or Vizinil Safe?
Hi,
A year back I had developed cough and cold problem which later went but had very bad cough for month my doctoer suggested me to take seroflo by taking it my cough however reduced. I have consulted many doctors for this because since then I still suffer from mild throat iritation with a slight thread like flame and this happens only when Iam exposed to cold whether , dute or sit in air conditioner. Doctors say that I have an allergy.My chest is howeevr clear in X ray taken. What should I do to feel better or have this completly go. Is it safe to take Rotocaps nor an allegra or Vizinil table, which amongst these are safe to take

symptomps are of allergy which increases in cold or hot
you may also be having sinusitis which is allergic causing pnd in throat causing irritation in throat
need to get xray pns waters view and treat in consultation with allergy doctor who will treat on allergy guidelines for cough sinuses and chronic throat irritations
get blood serum tests fr specific antibodies for various allergens and treat with immunotherapy

After reading your post, I will also agree with your doctor that you are having allergy to cold.
You should take precautions to avoid sudden change in temperature of the environment. Wear proper clothing while in A.C.
Avoid cold drinks, ice creams, etc.
Steam inhalation and gargle with warm saline water may be helpful.
Rotacaps usually contains a bronchodilator or a steroid which helps in bronchodilatation and proper passage of air.
Allegra contains antihistaminic which helps to control allergic episodes.
Viznil contains antihistaminic along with Montelukast, which helps in preventing asthmatic attacks.
You can take viznil for control of your symptoms. Rotacaps can be taken whenever you are having breathing problems along with cough.
I would suggest that you should first get yourself clinically examined by your doctor and let him decide which medicine is best suitable to you.
