Hello User, Let me first introduce u to what actually hydrocele is, a hydrocele testis is an accumulation of clear fluid in the tunica vaginalis, the most internal of membranes containing a testicle. A primary hydrocele causes a painless enlargement in the scrotum, secondary hydrocele is secondary to either inflammation or a neoplasm in the testis. It can be due to epididymo-orchitis also.It must be removed surgically by procedure called hydrocelectomy. So dont worry and consult your surgeon for further managament.
Welcome to HCM. Hydrocele means the accumulation of serous fluid can be a marker of physical trauma, infection or tumor,So it could be due to orchitis. Start antibiotic like oflox/ornidazole,cefixime under guidance of your doctor. Generally hydrocele requires surgery to get complete cure. The accumulation should generally be removed surgically. The procedure is called hydrocelectomy. Consult surgeon for further guidance and medical management.
