Hi Thanks for your query See your symptoms to start with was just a upper airway cough syndrome because of sore thorat. But you said it is associated with wheezing and you felt palpitation. If you are smoker then immediately stop smoking. Along with thses you should have following baseline investigations - 1. chest x-ray PA view 2. PFT with bronchodialtor reversibility 3. ECG to exclude heart causes of palpitation Consult a pulmonologist and get yourself locally examined. Dont be anxious too much. Take an axiolytic at bed time everyday for 2 weeks. If any abnormality is detected in the above mentioned investigations get treated for that. Thank you.
