Tender Lump, Scar To The Right Of Belly Button. Exploratory Surgery Done. Treatment?

I have a tender lump that I noticed two days ago top middle of my belly button that is very tender and it feels like whole area around it is tender now too. Not sure if I should call my ob/gyn or a general surgeon . I have a scar to the right of my bellybutton from exploratory surgury 40 years ago. (but that area does not hurt). I am a female 53 yrs old.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
It seems to be a local problem instead of any intra abdominal problem.
It looks to be either local cellulitis or a collection of pus.
Cellulitis can be treated with antibiotics while a pus pocket has to surgically drained.
In case of any doubt,a CT can decide the site of problem
You must consult a general surgeon for the diagnosis and treatment.
Thanks
