so im 16 and ive been having this problem since i was a little kid, i have shortness of breath so i yawn a lot for air and normally when i inhale i dont always get air i gotta try a couple times before oxygen reaches my lungs. i inhale and mid inhale STOP idk i thing something is blocking air passage but then other times i can inhale after a few tries so im unsure if thats the problem.. and recently started smoking and i realize its gotten worse as in i have that lack of air more often, ima quit for 2 weeks and see if it gets better

Visit your chest physician and re-evaluate yourself. you may require increased doses of anti-inflammatory drugs, broncho-dilators both long action and short acting for some time, Arrange for a Peak Flow meter and keep record of your peak expiratory flow rate.
