Teenager. Big, Squishy Lump Below Collar Bone. No Pain. History Of Physical Exercises Straining Neck. Concerning?

Hi I'm male, 14 and in high school now I have a weird relatively big lump right below my collar bone on the neck area not the neck itself but a lump right under the collerbone so it's squishy like jello and not very painful I just noticed it
Today and its been bothering me I think it appeared a day ago and I do also work out a lot I do judo and martial arts which I haven't been hit at all in the neck or in that area and I do 100 push-ups a day and a couple one arm push-ups that really starin my neck I workout my shoulders and arms a lot but could it be something more?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome at HCM.

It looks from your history that this lup can be one of the following-

-It may be a uniting stress fracture of collor bone.

-It may be a cyst below collor bone.

-It may be a enlarged lymph node due to infection in lung or somewhere else in its draining area.

You should be concerned about it.If it is painful then it needs a x ray to rule out a fracture. You should consult to your doctor for this.

With best wishes.
