Tans Easily, Redness In Cheeks, Warm To Touch. What Is Going On?
Hi. my child is 2 years old. he had been in the sun this week. he tans very easy and takes very well to the sun. i noticed his cheeks are very red and warm to the touch even after two days. its a very deep red and its kinda blochy. he has no fever and does not seem to be sick. what could tgus be and what can i do to help?
It is quite common for children to get sun allergy.
Avoid soaps,apply cold sponging over affected areas.This will give soothing effect.
Start applying a mild steroid like hydro cortisone over affected area.
