Taking Telma-Am For High BP, Moderate Smoker, Drink Rarely

Hello Dr ...I am a 32 year old male from India. I was diagnosed for high BP a year back ...it was in the range of 150/110 so my Dr prescribed Telma AM once daily...I have started monitoring my BP again for the past one month and find it in the range of 130/100 or 140/100 ...I am a moderate smoker and do drink on weekends...please advice

You must strongly consider quitting smoking. Smoking increases your risk of heart disease especially if you are having hypertension. It is a good sign that you have gained control over your blood pressure with the medications.
Try to include exercise in your daily routine after advice from your physician.
Avoid alcohol use, even on weekends.
