Taking Simvastatin To Reduce Cholesterol. Rashes In Chest, Neck, Burning, Itching. Should I Stop Medication?
I recently started taking simvastatin to help lower my cholesterol. I have only taken 13 of the pills. Now I noticed around the chest and neck areas I am experiencing a rash that comes and goes, but is very uncomfortable. It kind of burn along with the itching. I can't quite put my finger on when the rash started, but I do no it was after I had taken the pills for several days. Should I stop for a few days and see if it goes away? What can I use to contain the itch?
