Taking Prednisone, Albuterol For Bronchitis. Still Coughing. Having Sore Ribs, Headaches, Sinus Congestion, Green Mucous. Solution?
I've had a cough for a few weeks that I was told was bronchitis. I was given prednisone and albuterol about two weeks ago, and I've coughed less, but still have been coughing. My left rib is also sore and has been for about two weeks even as I've coughed less. I've also been having headaches and feeling fatigued and now my sinus' are conjested and my nasal mucus is green. Help?

because of congested sinuses you are having headache but as you are enumerating green mucus it may be because of psudomonas (a infective pathogen ) and it will require higher antibiotic like moxifloxacin 400mg once daily for 5 - 7 days..but also requir to demonstrate the pathogen by microbiologist by culture and sensitivity... so contiue with albuterol and predenisoslone and take analgesic for sympyomatic relive
