Taking Pills Regularly. Lower Abdominal Pain And Irregular Periods. Anything To Worry?

im on the pill taken religiously everyday at the same time (due to an alarm set on my phone) been on the pill since 17 years old (now 27) for the past 4 days i've been experiencing lower abdominal pain and started bleeding... but i'm 1 week away from starting my period which is like clockwork due to the pill any suggestions?

You may be experiencing a breakthrough bleeding or an implantation bleed. To come to a conclusion, you should get a serum beta-hCG test as this is the earliest way to confirm/exclude pregnancy.
