Taking Morphine For Chronic Neck Pain, UTI Symptoms Persist After Taking Antibiotics

My mother of 89 years old has been experiencing chronic pain up her neck, behind her ear, and into face for the past 30 years. She describes it as burning and razor blades. She was in emergency last week because the pain became so bad that she uncontrolably shaking , couldn't talk, became flushed all over her face chest and arms. Her feet are always freezing and she is unsteady when walks. The doctors also said she has a uti and gave her antibiotic for that as well. She said it still burns when she pees after taking the antibiotic for 7 days. We are still waiting for a blood test result. The did a ct scan and said there was a tiny spot on the bone in her neck but that would not cause the pain she was having. They gave her morphine and oxycocet to help relieve her pain..She takes gabapenton garbarite,hydrochlorozide,adelate,b12, Still no diagnosis. Can you help?

I have read your question, based on your symptoms kindly consult a vascular surgeon as your symptoms suggest some vessel lesion in your neck which has to be ruled out by investigations.
