Taking Medication For Severe Cramps. Any Side Effects For Taking Pyridoxine Hydrochloride?
I take Magnesium to stop severe cramps. I also take vitamin B as I have read that it help Magneium work properly in my body. I am concerned about a worning on the bottle that Pyridoxine Hydrochloride is dangerous if taken for long periods of time. What are the dangers & what damage can be caused.
I need to take Magnesium & Vitamin B as the cramps are unbareably painful.

Welcome to HCM.The side effects of Pyridoxine are rare at the usual prescribed dose.There may be hypersensitivity reactions including rash,itching,nausea/vomiting,swelling of lips/tongue/face ,wheezing and breathing problems.Tingling or numbness may be noted,motor co-ordination may be affected,solar sensitivity may increase,abdominal pain,drowsiness and breast enlargement may occur while on the drug.
