Taking Birth Control Pill. Cramps, Pink Vaginal Discharge. No Vomiting Or Diarrhea. Concerned

Hi,

I have been taking the same birth control pill for approximately 9 months now; yesterday I had terrible cramping (woke me up during the night, I thought it was maybe an indigestion but no vomitting or diahrrea). Today I still have the cramping on and off, and I have some light bleeding as well as vaginal discharge (pinkish-light red, viscous in appearance sorry if it's TMI). I called my Dr. and was told not to worry that this happens from time to time when taking the pills; however I am a little concerned because it never happened to me before. Any advice? Thanks,

Welcome to HCM.
Don't worry ,it happens sometime due to some withdrawal effect of pill.
Pain and indigestion might be due to uterine cramp.Take proper local care.
You can take NSAID with dicyclomin to subside pain.
Continue your birth control pill.
Consult your gynecologist for further guidance.
