Thanks for writing to HCM.

Epididymitis is a condition where you have inflammed epididymis and the most common cause is bacterial infection spreading from the bladder or urethra. Medication is necessary for the same. However with regards to the diet, its adviced to consume foods that reduce the inflammation and foods that would not provide a environment where the bacteria can grow further. Foods like spinach, strawberries, raspberries, etc reduce inflammation. Always avoid sugars and refined cereals. One of the best foods to treat epididymitis is Watermelon; According to research, watermelon is a powerful antioxidant and its useful in treating Urinary tract infections. Consume more watermelons and flavanoid rich foods. Remember, diet alone cannot help in epididymitis. Continue medication along with a healthy diet and increased water intake.

Good luck!!!
