Hi,
As you have been on the pills, your menstrual flow may get lesser and this should not cause worry. Only, you should get a regular follow up with a specialist. The pills prescribed now contain a 28-day pack and are supposed to be started on the first day of the cycle usually. As you have started it late by 5 days, you may expect your date to move on by 5 days from now on and there should be no confusion. As this is the first cycle, it is advisable to use added protection. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
