Hi,

Some of the inhalers contain chemicals like pseudoephedrine which can cause a false positive urinary drug screen for amphetamine, although newer tests have tried to correct this anomaly. You can take a print out of this review published in the Mayo Clinic Proceedings in 2008 and show this to your employer (http://www.drugcheck.com.au/pdfs/10-Mayo-Clinic-Clinicians.pdf). The Mayo Clinic Proceedings is a widely read and reputed journal and should serve your purpose if your inhalers contain the chemicals that can produce the false positive test.

I hope this helps you. Best wishes.
