Taking Amlodipine For High BP. Have Dizziness, Feeling Sick. Other Medicine?

I am taking Amlodipine Besylate 2.5 mg tablets for high blood preasure.
My blood preasure is still high 165 over 90.
This medicine is making me dizzy and it makes me feel sick.
Is there something else that will work that does not have side effects that mess with a persons head.
I have to be able to think and this medicine is messing with my head.
Is there a medicine that will not effect my thinking abilities???

Thanks for asking.

Your blood pressure is still high as the blood pressure recommended is around 120/80.

I do not think amlodipine 2.5 is the real cause of concern , as it is a very safe medicine used by millions of people.

You probably need an increase in the dose.
