Is something worrying you or are you anxious about something? Is there an exam or interview coming up?This could be one of the reasons why you are not able to fall asleep. Try not to sleep during the day time. At night , just carry on with listening to soft music, reading a book etc in your living room or study room. When you feel sleepy, go to your bedroom and sleep. What I'm trying to say is that dont lie on the bed trying to fall asleep, because then it is more frustrating when you are not able to sleep..You would be constantly thinking oh!why can't I sleep..why can't I get some sleep? So , Continue with your other activities and only when you feel sleepy, go to bed. Try to avoid exercising late evenings/night, as exercise will make you feel fresh.Instead try exercising late in the afternoon, which might help you to have a good nights sleep. Avoid having coffee or other stimulants at night. If the reason you can't get sleep is because of some stressful situation, once the period of stress tides away , you will be able to sleep well.If the sleep problem persists , please consult your physician. Hope you get a good night sleep today :)
