Kindest Regards Carol (a very concerned and worried mum) A concerned and worried Mum
HI Mrs. Carol I can under stand your concern, the patient is Male so I think you need not worry about it because the main problem of ITP is Bleeding crises which is the life threatening cause among the female because of their Menstrual cycle, but here this is out of question, only care your son has to take about the injuries, platelets of ITP patients does not create any emergency even though they are low quantities but because of their good health, natural remission of ITP too common so please Waite for some years before doing any further non indicative therapy, Take care of your son.( Always keep an eye on Purpura )
