Taken Emergency Contraceptive Pill After Unprotected Sex. Vaginal Irritation, Taken Norfloxin, Black Vaginal Discharge. Reason?

Me and my gf had sex and we took emergency pill nearly around 72 hours and after we had sex on the last day, now she is having some irritation in her vagina and also after taking some medicine norfloxcin 400 she started to have some black discharege from her vagina. what could be the reason behind this? Is it a symptom of anything else?

Thanks for the query.

When the time gap increases from the intercourse to intake of the emergency pill the failure rate can increase. And usually emergency pill can give protection for up to 24 hours after taking it.
The brown discharge she is having could be a side effect of the emergency pill.
Vaginal irritation could be due to some vaginal infection.
And better to use the tablets after consulting the doctor.
If she miss her expected date periods, better to go for pregnancy test once.
