Hello, Me and my gf had sex (though we have a doubt whether how much my semen goes in) and within 24 hours she consumed one contraceptive pill. Her age: 20 Weight: 48 Health build: Average Last menstrual date: 5th July Had sex: 20th July Contraceptive pill has taken: 21st July No menstrual period happend till today Pregnancy urine test: Positive (today) What will be the side effects if she takes Mifepristone followed by Misoprostol? Thank you.
hi,
as you had intercourse around the time of ovulation there is more possibility for fertilization, the pill will usually prevent pregnancy but there is some amount of failure rate for the pill and also sometimes urine pregnancy test kits can give false positive results,
you should not take any tablets for abortion without consulting doctor and excluding ectopic pregnancy,
so let her consult gynecologist once and undergo ultrasound which can confirm intrauterine pregnancy and rule out ectopic pregnancy then with your doctor's advice she can go for tablets.
take care.
