Taken Antibiotics And Steroids For Retracted Eardrum And Sinus Infection. Have Blocked Ear, Vertigo, Nausea Now

I had a sinus infection in July and it caused a retracted eardrum. I have been on 2 rounds of antibiotics, and steroids as well. The infection is gone, but my ear drum just won't get better. I have tried popping it several ways, and done everything the dr suggested. I have another apt on Wednesday. Just wondering what another dr thinks of the situation. I can only hear maybe 20% of what I used to, and at some points I cannot hear at all. I cannot move my head a lot or I work have severe vertigo and nausea.. I need help, I cannot continue like this! Thanks

Hello
You might have developed fluid collection behind the ears But its now 3months .now get done a pure tone audiometry and impedance audiometry ,these are 2test to see whether the hearing loss or blockage is because of infection or there is nerve problems.
and most importantly Avoid popping ears.
you can use chewing gums, as chewing and swallowing will help in opening up the tube connecting back of nose and middle part of ear.
in doubt do reply
