Taken Proluton For Bleeding During Pregnancy. Is The Baby Safe?

i am 13 weeks into my pregnancy n i started recieving proluton injection 500mg each week for 3weeks because i was bleeding from the 10th month. i am yet to recieve the last dose of the inj. pls is my baby safe? bcos i hav read a lot on this drug n some readings talk abt horrible side effects. pls help me out with answers bfor i go crazy. what wil happen to my baby..am having sleepless nites bcos of this... vivienne.

Hi,

Yes Prolution is safe. This is required to maintain/continue the pregnancy. The hormone is usually raised and maintain in pregnancy, so the drug is given for you to maintain your pregnancy after the episode of bleeding.

So be relaxed and follow your doctor advice.
