Taken Primolut For Irregular Periods. Have Hypothyroid. Now No Period. Side Effect?

Hi Doctor, I have hypothyroid, and i have taking ayurveda medicines for the same, 2 months back i had periods problem, my friend prescribed primoult tablet for my menstrual cycle to start, i took one table each day for three days, after a week a got my periods. Its been almost nearing to two months and i have not yet got my periods, is this any kind of side effect because of the tablet? Iam a single women. Kindly advice.

Hello,
Primarily the cause of delay in periods look to be due to your uncontrolled hypothyroid status,although there can be other additional reasons also.
You must consult a gynecologist and get yourself thoroughly evaluated and then get treated properly.
I am not against Ayurvedic medicines,but your thyroid status would be better controlled by synthetic thyroxine hormonal preparations.
