TTC. Delayed Periods. Have Irregualar Periods. Detected Low Progesteron, High FSH Hormone. Prescribed Duphaston. HPT Negative. Start Medicine?

hi i, all my life i had very irregular cycles,i'm 30 now. for the last 4 months. I was prescribed clomid and my period have become more or less regular. But as much as we've been trying to get pregnant it wouldn't happen.over those last 4 months i'd do ovulation tests for a week starting on the 7th day of my cycle but it would never show positive. Last time ,i saw my doctor in august ,he decided to check my hormones and the results showed i have low levels of progesteron (0.35), high levels of FSH hormone(11.46),LH (1.7),DHEAS(1.6), so he decided to stop clomid and just have a course of minerals, vitamins, vitamin e, calcium for few months with duphaston on day 15-25. But this month my period didn't come, I've done few pregnancy test they are negative, its the 40th day today since my last period started and i want to ask if i could maybe take duphaston now or wait until the period starts and take it on 15th day?thank you

Hello,
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Your age is 30 yrs and irregular bleeding , scanty menses , amenorrhea , dysfunctional uterine bleeding all these symptoms may be due to Poly Cystic Ovarian Disease.
As you stated that you wan to conceive.
As you mentioned that the level of progesterone is very low right it is 0.35 ( normal in follicular FSH is 11.46 ( normal follicular 3.0-20, ovulatory 9.0-26.0, luteal phase1.0-12 .0 IU/L.
L H is also low .

In pcod cases there are alteration in FSH/LH ratio, low estrogen with high androgen level, so please write down complete reports.
Follicular study is also very important for any ovulation as whole of conception depends upon this study .
Consult a gynecologist and get his opinion.
As duphastone at this level in my opinion is useless , so wait for some time.
Consult another gynecologist and get opinion .
Good luck. Dr. HET
