Symptoms and ways in which meningitis spreads ?

my sister in law had menagitist symtoms and she is in hospital. i havnt been to see her but her childrens been to see her vand children had been given managitist antibatic vacacines,her children are staying with me. my question is can i get managitist by looking after the children as i found some rash on my arms and on my hands.

Meningitis spreads from infectious patient and not from patient's contacts who have taken preventive measures, so you are safe.
Meningitis is an infection and interpersonal spread is through droplet nuclei, that is by fumes of patients respiratory secretions in the air that reach to you.
