Hello,

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to Healthcare Magic.

As per your query you have swollen upper lip with blister.

As per your query the most probable possibility appears to be "insect bite".
Due to bite of the insect it can cause raised area with redness, blistering and mild to moderate pain and itching.
In herpes we find multiple small vesicles and not a blister. These are remaining for a day only and then burst up to form ulcers which are itchy and painful. There is generally no swelling of lip in herpes. So rest assured about the possibility of herpes.

For the betterment kindly follow the suggestions below:
-Do simple cold compressions two times.
- stay away from direct sunlight.
- do not try to touch or scratch or pinch the area as can lead to secondary infection.
- You can apply topical antibiotic cream such as "mupirocin" or fucidin in thin layer two times a day.

Hope these information will help. If you have further queries I will be happy to help.

"With good health wishes"
