Swollen Tonsil, Sore Throat, Cough, Plugged Ears, Swollen Gland. Cure For Symptoms?
About six weeks ago I had a swollen tonsils and sore throat and cough and cold. The only symptom I still have is one tonsils swollen a little bit on the left side and my left ear feels plugged and the gland under my jaw/ear bone on the left side also feels slightly swollen. I feel like my ear needs to pop but it won't and I feel like I have a strange sensation on and off in my neck on the left side perhaps associated with my ear and tonsil?

I have understood your problem and i shall try to help you out
You seem to be having an episode of tonsillitis with lymph node enlargement and you need to do these:
1. Take a strong antibiotic like amoxycillin-clavulanate if not already taken for five days in consultatation with your doctor.
2. Take only warm fluid and do not take anything cold
3. Do not take oily or spicy food
4. take salt water gargle at least three times in a day.
5. take an anti reflux medication like pantprazole in consulation with your doctor
if you do not get better then you must consult an ENT
take care and get welll soon
