Hi,
Swollen toe should not be taken lightly. there can be mutiple of cause same. As it is getting red and purple so I suggest you to kindly meet a dermatologist or a surgeon. The only precaution you must follow is not to touch, pinch pop or squeeze any of them other wise it can get infected and can cause complications. You can apply Mupirocin or gentamycin cream and can take by mouth the antihistamine benadryl.
