hi there,

Swollen taste buds on the tongue indicates inflammation or tngue mucosa and it may be caused due to several reasons like deficiency or certain vitamins especially vitamin B12 and vitamin C.

Since you have orthodontic braces applied on the teeth , improper brushing and flossing and poor oral hygiene may also lead to inflammation of the tongue.

Maintain good oral hygiene by practising regular mouth rinsing with lukewarm saline water or antiseptic mouthwash like betadine or chlorhexidine.

start with multivitamin supplements for 7 to 10 days and vitamin C lozenges will help in resolving the problem.

avoid alcohol , carbonated drinks , tobacco chewing and smoking as these may worsen the area affected.

Lymph node enlargement in neck and arm pits is may be due to some underlying infection and needs to be examined by a physician.

i hope this helps ,

take care.

Maintain a good oral hygiene , use antiseptic mouthwash gargles twice daily .

Swollen lymph nodes in neck and armpit can be because of bacterial or viral infection, mouthsores , tooth infections skin infections , ear infections .
Get complete checkup done . If fever cough is present get it treated , the condition will resolve once illness will go away.

Hello and welcome,

The swollen taste buds may be due to-
Intake of allergic foods.
Depapillation.
Aphthous ulcers.
Pericoronitis.
Tongue thrusting habit.
I would suggest you to avoid intake of hot/spicy foods.
Floss your tongue mildly.
Infected tooth if present has to be restored or removed.
Plenty of fluids and nutritional food has to be taken.
Maintain good oral hygiene.
Warm saline rinse may be helpful.
Take care.
