Swollen Nodes Near Jawline, Collar Bone. CBC Normal, CRP High. Diagnosed Degenerative Disc, Broken Arm. Treatment?

My 13 year old daughter has swollen nodes in the neck by the jaw line and at the base of her neck along the collar bone. No know infection, hasn't felt ill, no temp and has had them for the last month and a half. Doctor ran a CBC, which came back normal and a CRP which was high. She was just diagnosed with Degenerative Disc and broke her arm about 3 weeks ago. What should we be looking at next. Still waiting for DR. to get back with me. I want to explore all my options so I can be informed when the Dr. does get back with us.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

I have studied your case.

Lymph node enlargement with raised CRP level indicate some underlying infection.
May be tonsil infection ,or viral illness, or cold abscess which has no fever .
How there can be degenerative disc disease at age of 13?

Continue treatment for arm fracture ,add vit D supplement.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care
