hi i have a swollen gland on my neck for over 4 months. i been fine. i just have alot of neck pain and chest tightness in the right side of neck where the swollen gland is. i had miscarriage in match and i got the iud copper placed in april. i have no fever or weight loss or any other signs of anthhing other then the ones i listed. im 27 rs old female with two kids. the swollen gland is less when i wake up in the morn time. and seem to get more swollen again through out the da...

Hi thanks for your question.
You are having swollen gland in neck, which are most probably enlarged cervical lymph nodes. Enlarged, inflamed lymph node could be responsible for your neck pain. Lymph node get enlarge and inflamed whenever there is infection in their vicinity. Since lymph node on right side are enlarged along with tightness of chest on right side, so most probably problems lies on right side of chest. A good physical examination along with investigation is very important for establishing the cause of your symptoms. Consult a physician who may examine you and get you investigated for your symptoms. You may need chest X Ray, blood counts and FNAC (fine needle aspiration cytology) of the swelling to determine the cause of your symptoms
