Swollen lymph nodes, sores on scalp, swollen. What is it?

hi im a 23 year old female and a mother of two kids under the age of three.i have a swollen lymph nodes on the back of my kneck which is hard to touch,it causes me no paine apart from stiffness i also have some sores on my scalp which are a bit sore,im worried that it might be something serious, it has been swollen for nearly 5 months now and it is geting bigger it started off the size of a pea and now its the size of a u have any idea what it could be and what i should do about it.....thanks

The enlarged lymph nodes can be due any infection (bacterial or fungal or viral), Malignancy or due to inflammation. As the size is increasing and causing pain to you, you need to consult your GP as soon as possible.
The treatment depends upon the cause of the bump. A simple test FNAC (Fine needle aspiration cytology) help you find out the cause and accordingly treatment can be planned.
