Swollen knee after falling down. Diabetic, had heart attack. Remedy?

I stumbled in my yard in July, 2013 and kinda hurt my left knee. It hurt for about a month before it got better, it still hurts sometime a little. It has been swollen ever since and I was just wondering if I should get it checked out. I have diabetes, am age 74, female, and had a heart attack and a double bypass last October. Thanks

Hello Friend,
Thank you for posting your query through Healthcare magic.
Hurting in the part injured is not abnormal. Nature brings in swelling, pain and other symptoms of inflammation in order to supply more of blood through circulation and more of circulation is produced in order to have a sudden and early healing.
But in your case the time duration taken for a minor hurting your knee is abnormally prolonged to more than one month now. This shows your poor health condition. This is evidenced by the fact that you are 74, you have diabetes and that you had to undergo a double bye pass surgery.
At this point I should say that you have to get treatment but 'which treatment' is the important question. If you go for the same method of conventional medicine you will be given a pain killer, external analgesic application and in addition an antibiotic.
Pain is a natural phenomenon that helped you to attend to the condition that is still not cured. Therefore stopping pain by a pain killer is against nature.
An external application to relieve the symptom of swelling is again anti nature because swelling means more circulation and body is helped by more of circulation at the affected area
Antibiotics are not indicated because there is no evidence of any infection. Also anti biotics are harmful to the body.
Therefore you need a method of treatment that will improve the immunity or resistance of the body. It is Homoeopathy. It is natural method that will improve your immunity or health and will aid the cure of the hurt area following the injury in the most rapid and permanent manner.
Not only that , by adopting Homoeopathy, your health will be improved and you will no more show symptoms of any other serious diseases in future.
Therefore you are advised to consult an expert Homoeopathic physician or to get back to me with your details.
