Swollen Eye, Tearing, Pain When Moving Eye After Injury. How To Ease Pain And Discomfort?

I hit my eye with my mascara wand pretty hard this morning. I had to leave work because I work in customer service and my eye has swelled up, tears very heavily, and it hurts if I attempt to look from side to side without moving my head. This has happened before but it is usually better about 20 minutes after the accident. This happened around 8 in the morning and it is now 4:30 pm. What can I do do ease the pain and discomfort?

Hi,
It seems that you might got injury in your eye leading to swelling, painful eye with watering.
There is a chance of having injury on your cornea may lead to corneal ulcer, this might be a serious problem.
Consult ophthalmologist without delay and rule out corneal injury.
Mean while put antibiotic eye drops 1-2 hourly.
Ok and take care.
